The Texas Disposal Systems Exotic Wildlife Ranch and Pavilion is used as a working ranch and invited guest entertainment facility operation. The ranch land is comprised of land that is under permit for future landfill expansion and a portion of the buffer zone next to the permitted boundary of the landfill and compost operations.
TDS believes strongly in giving back to the community and we have focused our efforts on helping qualified non-profit organizations raise funds, recognize worthy citizens, and provide educational opportunities. TDS has hosted over 2,000 events at its pavilion since 1999 and has never charged groups to use our facility. To date, we have helped those non-profit groups raise over 20 million dollars for their organizations. See the list of organizations/events hosted here.
The Exotic Wildlife Ranch, which is used primarily as a breeding and conservation operation for our private collection and for livestock sales, is home to more than 2,000 animals from over 100 different species. Dozens of these breeds are considered endangered; some can only thrive in captivity. Many inhabitants from six of the seven continents—including species from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America—safely co-exist on our preserve.
