Laundry Trailers for Emergencies

The laundry trailer units are mobile, which are ideal for large-scale emergency response efforts. Trailers can be moved on scheduled routes to service as many people as possible during the days or weeks following the disaster.

Laundry Trailer Options

Various Trailer Sizes

Trailers come with paired washers and dryers in:

  • 6-pair units
  • 8-pair units
  • 14-pair units

These various sizes ensure there’s ample opportunity to wash and dry clothes with less waiting for availability.

Power and Water Options

The 8- and 14-pair unit trailers come with internal power generators, water bladders, and holding tanks.

The 6-pair unit requires a 50 Amp plug-in power source. Trailers can be connected to on-site power sources or portable generators depending on the site’s infrastructure.

TDS provides all water and daily pump out services, as well as portable generators, for an additional fee.

The 8-pair and 14-pair unit trailers come with internal power generators. However, the 6-pair unit trailers require a 50 Amp power source. We offer mobile power generators for these trailers at an additional cost if there is no on-site power source.

Interior Amenities

Each mobile laundry trailer includes interior lights and air conditioning. The interior also features non-skid flooring. All the units in the trailers are front-load style washers and dryers.

Ryan Driskell

Director of Recycling & Organics

Ryan has over 12 years of experience with TDS, having joined the organization in 2013. He has built a strong foundation in data-driven decision making, working in pricing for the hauling division and progressing through roles from analyst to Pricing Manager before transitioning to his current leadership position.

In his current role, Ryan has oversight of three key operations within TDS’s recycling and organics division, the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF),  the Garden-Ville brand composting operation focused on efficient and high-quality organic processing, and the Construction & Demolition (C&D) facility dedicated to diverting recoverable material from the landfill. His approach is rooted in performance metrics and operational insight, using data to identify efficiencies, track throughput, and drive continuous improvement across all three areas.

Ryan’s numbers-driven approach has played a key role in TDS expanding its reach, with notable growth into municipalities such as Dripping Springs, Bastrop, and Smithville, as well as serving major university campuses including UT, UTSA, and Texas State. He is driven by a passion for building safe, efficient systems focused on maximizing the volume of material TDS can responsibly accept and process. 

Ryan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
