40-yard dumpsters get their name from being able to typically hold up to 40 cubic yards of debris. The TDS 40-yard dumpsters are 22 feet long, 8 feet wide and 8 feet tall. These dumpsters work great for both large-scale commercial and/or residential projects. Please note that dumpster sizes from other manufacturers and disposal services may vary.

TDS’s 40-yard roll-off dumpsters have a weight limit of 12,000-16,000 pounds. Please keep in mind that the type of material you’re throwing away and the distance driven to your location may affect the maximum weight allowed in your load.

Select and prepare the location for your dumpster
You can place the dumpster in your driveway if you have enough room (see step 3) for the dumpster and for the truck that drops it off. You will need a permit from the city if you need to place your dumpster in a public space, such as the street.
Dumpster drop-off by TDS team member
The TDS team will bring your dumpster rental to you. Our 40-yard dumpsters are 22 ft. x 8 ft. x 8 ft. Our team works hard to comfortably and safely place your dumpster rental where you need it. Upon delivery, please make sure the area of the dumpster drop-off is clean of debris.
Fill your dumpster
Time to get that stuff out of here! When loading your dumpster, make sure that you don’t overload the bin, or our team won’t be able to haul it away safely.
Dumpster pick-up by TDS team member
At the end of your rental period, the TDS team will load up your dumpster and haul it away at the designated time, date, and location.
