The Exotic Wildlife Ranch

Exotic Wildlife Ranch

The Exotic Wildlife Ranch and Pavilion is used as a working ranch and invited guest entertainment facility operation.

We are committed to conservation and in doing our part in helping animal species thrive. We strive to responsibly give the animals in the Exotic Wildlife Ranch a peaceful environment in which to live. Currently, we are not accepting event reservations for our Pavilion or tour requests for our Exotic Wildlife Ranch.

Events Pavilion

TDS believes strongly in giving back to the community and we have focused our efforts on helping qualified non-profit organizations raise funds, recognize worthy citizens, and provide educational opportunities. We have hosted over 2,500 events at its pavilion since 1999 and have never charged groups to use the facility. To date, we have helped those non-profit groups raise approximately 26 million dollars for their organizations. For a sample list of these non-profits, please click here.

Currently, we are not accepting event reservations for our Pavilion or tour requests for the Exotic Wildlife Ranch.

Exotic Wildlife

The Exotic Wildlife Ranch, which is used primarily as a breeding and conservation operation for our private collection and for livestock sales, is home to more than 600 animals from over 65 different species. Dozens of these breeds are considered endangered; some can only thrive in captivity. Many inhabitants from six of the seven continents—including species from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America—safely co-exist on our preserve.

The Exotic Wildlife Ranch is closed to the public, but click the button below to view the animals currently living in our exotic wildlife center.

Ryan Driskell

Director of Recycling & Organics

Ryan has over 12 years of experience with TDS, having joined the organization in 2013. He has built a strong foundation in data-driven decision making, working in pricing for the hauling division and progressing through roles from analyst to Pricing Manager before transitioning to his current leadership position.

In his current role, Ryan has oversight of three key operations within TDS’s recycling and organics division, the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF),  the Garden-Ville brand composting operation focused on efficient and high-quality organic processing, and the Construction & Demolition (C&D) facility dedicated to diverting recoverable material from the landfill. His approach is rooted in performance metrics and operational insight, using data to identify efficiencies, track throughput, and drive continuous improvement across all three areas.

Ryan’s numbers-driven approach has played a key role in TDS expanding its reach, with notable growth into municipalities such as Dripping Springs, Bastrop, and Smithville, as well as serving major university campuses including UT, UTSA, and Texas State. He is driven by a passion for building safe, efficient systems focused on maximizing the volume of material TDS can responsibly accept and process.

Ryan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
