Processing Facilities

We utilize a variety of innovative facilities to offer a holistic approach and wide range of services in the resource management industry.

As the first fully-integrated facility of its kind in Texas, TDS’ sister company Texas Landfill Management (TLM) offers an award-winning approach to environmental preservation.

Better known as the MRF, recycles 40-45 tons of material per hour including glass, cardboard, paper, aluminum and plastic that has been recycled by the communities TDS serves.

With large-scale on-site composting facilities, Texas Disposal Systems finds ways to give new life to discarded materials through our composting operations.

With a history of successfully diverting waste from the landfill, we offer a more economical way to dispose of concrete and rock base materials. TDS also uses those recycled materials to create new concrete products.

Fully Integrated Processing Facility

Our top of the line processing facility in Southeast Travis County is able to divert and recycle waste in an eco-friendly way. We use innovative methods of waste hauling and recycling in our processes, including landfilling, single-stream recycling, composting and concrete recycling services.

A Commitment to Diversion

We are more than a waste pickup provider. By providing alternatives and seeking ways to divert material from the landfill, we use only the most environmentally conscientious methods for solid waste collection, processing, and disposal.

This includes a fully integrated facility – the first of its kind in the state of Texas – that incorporates solid waste disposal, compost production, and recycling operations. From this award-winning landfill to large-scale composting fields to a state-of-the-art recycling facility, we offer several options in diverting waste from the landfill.

We’re setting a new standard in the resource management industry by offering revolutionary approaches, integrated services, and independent ownership.

Ryan Driskell

Director of Recycling & Organics

Ryan has over 12 years of experience with TDS, having joined the organization in 2013. He has built a strong foundation in data-driven decision making, working in pricing for the hauling division and progressing through roles from analyst to Pricing Manager before transitioning to his current leadership position.

In his current role, Ryan has oversight of three key operations within TDS’s recycling and organics division, the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF),  the Garden-Ville brand composting operation focused on efficient and high-quality organic processing, and the Construction & Demolition (C&D) facility dedicated to diverting recoverable material from the landfill. His approach is rooted in performance metrics and operational insight, using data to identify efficiencies, track throughput, and drive continuous improvement across all three areas.

Ryan’s numbers-driven approach has played a key role in TDS expanding its reach, with notable growth into municipalities such as Dripping Springs, Bastrop, and Smithville, as well as serving major university campuses including UT, UTSA, and Texas State. He is driven by a passion for building safe, efficient systems focused on maximizing the volume of material TDS can responsibly accept and process.
