Texas Organic Products (TOP) is the composting division of Texas Landfill Management, L.L.C (TLM). Our compost facility makes it convenient for customers to divert organic feedstocks, for composting rather than landfilling, which preserves future landfill capacity. Also, home gardeners and professional landscaping contractors can take advantage of our "one-stop shopping" by dumping a load of yard or brush trimmings and hauling off compost, mulch or organic rich topsoil for use on their projects. The composting operation receives various source-separated feedstocks including: yard trimmings (brush, leaves, lawn clippings, etc.); clean wood waste (no treated lumber); produce; paper; dead animals; animal/vegetable oils and greases; and some liquid feedstocks, such as dairy materials, beer, wine, soft drinks and other beverages. There are many feedstocks we have not yet discovered so please give us a call to see if your waste may be composted. Hours: Monday through Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Location: At the Texas Disposal Systems landfill in Southeast Travis County, approximately 12 miles southeast of downtown Austin.
